Established in 2011 as a not-for-profit digital photo archive initiative under photo.circle, Nepal Picture Library is a response to the acute loss of photographic heritage and the dearth of pluralistic and multicultural visions of history in Nepal. We collect, digitise, and document visual materials from private and organisational sources with the objective of creating a visual repository of ordinary life, social history, and public culture in Nepal.
